Johanna is a diverse musician, classically trained in violin and flute with a diploma in jazz singing from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. In 1998 she won the Musician of the Year for Central Finland. She’s played at numerous Jazz Festivals and clubs in Finland as well as some of the top venues in London.Johanna has also appeared with many orchestras including: The Thames Festival Orchestra; Lahti Symphony Orchestra; Carl Rosa Opera Company and the Avanti! Chamber Orchestra. She’s also performed with such luminaries as Ruggiero Ricci, Leonidas Kavakos and Yehudi Menuhin in venues around the world. Appearing at the prestigious Kensington Palace; Tower Bridge; Chateau de Bagnols, Lyon, France; Nymphenburg Castle, Munich; Hotel Cap Estel, Cote d'Azur, Monte Carlo; Finlandia Hall, Helsinki and the Cathedral on the Zocalo, Mexico City.
